The new Phoenix 44 for Mr. Eduardo de Souza Ramos has been launched in Ilhabella, Brasil.
The 44′ has been designed to compete in IRC and ORC races in South America, based on our succesful Interlodge IV design (BP277). The new hull shape, appendages and sailplan have been optimized for their regatta schedule and expected weather conditions.
The boat was built in Brasil by Marco Landi (ML Boats), under the project management of Andre Fonseca. The composite engineering has been conceived by Pure. The boat will have an Axxon rig and Harken deck hardware.
