The 25th edition of Les Voiles de Saint-Tropez racing marked the conclusion of the International Maxi Association’s 2024 Mediterranean Maxi Inshore Challenge.
The magic of Les Voiles was in full force once again, boasting weather conditions perfectly tailored to the 250 boats invited to be a part of this grand festival of sailing: Maxi, Tradition and Modern yachts enjoyed an exceptional week of racing.
Peter Harrison’s BP280 Jolt, unbeaten in her first four races, suffered damage after hitting a rock. Despite this setback, she finished second in Saturday’s race, securing overall victory. “We had one bad day when we had a ‘coming together’ with the mainland,” said Harrison, “but today was great – we maintained our place and are very happy with the result.”
