he new Futura built by Maxi Dolphin has been recently launched in Varezze, Italy.
The new MD63 was designed for an owner who was looking for high performance cruising, in style! The ultra modern sleek deck design was developed jointly with the owner, who liked a clean and minimalist look for the yacht.
The hull shape is very powerful for fast cruising, and has benefited from CFD analysis similar to what we use to design our racing boats, including the America´s Cup AC75! The sailplan was sized for ease of use when cruising, and the deck systems are thought for shorthanded sailing. The boat is relatively light displacement and will be fast in light airs usually encountered in the Mediterranean
