The new Grand Soleil 50′ is a project which has been driven by collaboration with existing Grand Soleil owners. The aim was to achieve a better understanding of their requirements and to produce a luxurious performance cruiser-racer, with clean lines, timeless elegance and a beautiful interior whilst guaranteeing the best possible performance and safety.

The hull is laminated using the vacuum infusion process, ensuring the optimum ratio of fibre to resin. In contrast, the internal structure is made of a transverse structure in carbon fibre, which interacts with the unidirectional layers of fibre applied lengthwise along the hull. This all means that the hull is lighter and incredibly stiff. She has a T-shaped keel which enables a high ballast ratio and reduced wetted surface.

The Grand Soleil 50′ comes in a three cabin, two heads layout as standard and she has a 75hp Yanmar sail-drive engine
