Camper was designed for the 2011-12 Volvo Ocean Race. The design was a collaboration between the ETNZ engineering group and several members of our design team such as Marcelino Botin (Principal Designer), Adolfo Carrau (VPP), Alberto Porto (CFD) and Joan Gelabert (3D modelling and production designer). The boat was built by Cookson Boats in Auckland. Skipper Chris Nicholson and Shore Manager Neil Cox were involved since day 1, and they contributed in many areas to design and build such a successful racing boat.
